Tribute to a Visionary - Mark Mendel

Mark Mendel. A pioneer and champion for Jamaica. Married to Leonie Mendel, I first met him when my friend Richard (aka Potcover) and I left Santos with Deon Messi Willmot to go to train at Swallowfield. We were young and had no money. Still in high school but gifted beyond our years, 'Potcover' especially was a great striker. Mark had a security company called Security Alert & Protection Products and was first to bring electronic signage into the banks in Jamaica.
